Today Miami.com reported that local restaurants Pubbelly and Wynwood Brewing Co. would be joining Tobacco Road onboard the Norwegian Escape come November.
The Pubbelly guys will being opening a restaurant dubbed Food Republic serving many of the dishes they've built their reputation for such as the bacon-wrapped dates and truffle-shortrib dumplings. Adding some tech into the mix, guests can order their bites through iPads set up at their table.
As for Wynwood Brewing, it'll be running the District Brew House which will feature Wynwood Brewery's complete line up of draft beers along with options from "guests breweries," according to Miami.com. And they brought in Miami's own Bar Lab guys to create the cocktail menu for the concept.
This isn't the first time a South Florida restauranteur has partnered a cruise line, Michael Schwartz has operated numerous concepts on Royal Caribbean ships since 2011. [Miami.com]
