On what seems to be an endless campaign to have a restaurant in every cultural hot spot in town, Starr Restaurants and its catering division, Starr Restaurants Catering Group, have partnered up with the recently opened National YoungArts Campus to bring its newest restaurant, Ted's at YoungArts, to life.
The restaurant, housed on the seventh floor of the YoungArts building, is the only one in the Southeast designed by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry, the same guy who designed the New World Center. Boasting to be one of the "most technologically-advanced restaurant and catering venues in the region," it features a 360-degree HD projection capabilities, acoustics designed by Nagata Acoustics and panoramic citywide views.
As for the experience at Ted's — imagine a new take on dinner and a show. The restaurant will display an assortment of visual and performing arts curated by YoungArts, such as dance, photography, video installation, jazz music, spoken word and more, to soak in while you eat your dinner or have a drink at the bar. The restaurant is open every Wednesday through Saturday from 6 p.m. until closing. For an updated performance listing check it out here.
Curious what you can munch and drink while taking in these performances? We've got a first look at the Ted's at YoungArts menu below.
