Former 8 Oz. Burger Bar Owner Pleads No Contest to Attempted Murder Charges

Joshua Woodward is expected to be sentenced to 9 years in jail

The seemingly never-ending attempted murder case of Joshua Woodward, the former 8 Oz. Burger Bar owner who was arrested for allegedly trying to induce a miscarriage of his former mistress in 2009, pled no contest to charges late last week, according to Miami.com. Early next year, the former restaurant owner plans to return back to a California court where he is expected to be sentenced to nine years in state prison.
