Another Top Chef has made their way down to Miami. The show's season four contestant Spike Mendelsohn, owner of D.C. establishments Good Stuff Eatery; We, The Pizza; and Béarnaise, has softly opened his "seaside cafe" inspired restaurant Sunny's inside The Hall hotel.
The restaurant, named after Mendelsohn's grandfather, features a menu with reinterpreted all-American dishes. For breakfast, which is served daily, options like a bottomless cereal bowl – served with a personal gamming consul to play while eating – and toast topped four different ways. For lunch and dinner Sunny's features an all-day menu with dishes like grilled grouper Ruben, tuna poke bowl, Panther Coffee "spiked" steak and for dessert a beach-inspired s'mores dessert. A juice bar will also be on site.
Sunny's is now open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 1500 Collins Avenue.
