UPDATE: NYC’s Pies ‘N’ Thighs Coming to South Beach in Pop-Up Form

More fried chicken is on its way to Miami Beach. The Mondrian Hotel announced today that a pop-up Pies ‘N’ Thighs restaurant is coming to its hotel from November 16 through January 17, 2016 in the La Savina space in addition to the pop-up already at the Modrian, Momo Sushi Shack. The popular Brooklyn eatery serves, you guessed it, fried chicken and pies along with other items like burgers, salads and pulled pork sandwiches, although we're told a menu for this project hasn't be finalized just yet. The pop-up will be open Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to midnight.

UPDATE (November 16): Seems as if this was a false alarm and Pies 'N' Thighs won't be coming to South Beach after all. We just received this statement from the hotel reps, "Due to time and staffing constraints the Pies ‘N’ Thighs Pop-Up at Mondrian South Beach has been indefinitely postponed. With holiday volume at their New York locations and other projects the team behind Pies ‘N’ Thighs decided they could not dedicate the time to the Miami pop-up."
