Adding to its growing list of eateries, the posh Setai Hotel Miami Beach officially opens the doors for its latest restaurant concept, Jaya, tonight. The restaurant is self-described "as a celebration of culinary diversity featuring regional specialties from Southeast and Northern Asian cultures." So what does that exactly mean? Expect the traditional Asian flavors that the Setai restaurants have been known for over the past ten years, along with Indian influences.
Making their way onto the menu are dishes like peking duck, steamed buns and kimchi fried rice, along with naan breads and Indian curries, prepared by the restaurant’s executive chef Mathias Gervais and executive sous chef Vijayudu Veena. And like most restaurants nowadays, the dishes are "meant to be shared" amongst the table. The restaurant is now open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Call 855-923-7899 to make a reservation.
