Hy Vong Returning as a Pop-Up Inside Bookstore in the Grove

When Hy Vong closed in late October its owners promised to be back — and it looks like they are staying true to that promise. The restaurant took to Facebook to announce that next weekend on December 18, 19 and 20 from 6 to 10 p.m. it will return as a will pop-up inside the Bookstore in the Grove, which might be a bit of a misleading name since the bookstore also houses a fully functional restaurant inside.

The post goes on to say:

It will be a full menu and you just come as you wish like the old Hy-Vong. If this works out we will be doing pop ups there Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays permanently . It has a kitchen and seating already available!!! The last pop up had neither and was the most difficult event I have ever done. You don't have to register on line and there are no set seating.

The owner does however add in a later post that if you have a group of five or more that want to come in to email them here to reserve your spot.
