Choices Organic Café to Eliminate Tipping in 2016

Following the lead of New York City restaurateur Danny Meyer, Miami-based Choices Café announced that is eliminating tipping in its restaurants starting January 1, 2016.

Calling this new way of business "#HospitalityIncluded" the restaurant said in a statement that getting rid of tipping will, "allow Choices Café to compensate all team members equitably, competitively, and professionally, and provide clear paths for career advancement."

As for the food prices there will be, "slight increases in some menu prices," but overall will cost the same. The restaurant also plans to introduce a new $10 and under menu in January to coincide with the new no tipping policy. The restaurant currently has three locations throughout Miami with a fourth in the works.
