Paul Qui’s business partner Jesse Herman took to Instagram earlier today posting an image of a staff training for their upcoming restaurant, Pao. While reps were hesitant to give us an opening date for some time, they did indeed confirm that the highly anticipated restaurant will open to the public on December 21 inside Miami Beach’s Faena Hotel.

Few details on Pao have surfaced so far but we know that it will house a $6.5 million statue designed by Damien Hirst, a golden dome roof and as Qui told Eater earlier this year, "a giant open kitchen that has open fires" along with plenty of Texas-style smoked dishes and seafood options.
