Chef Takeover at Taquiza; Mixology Classes at Radio Bar

SOUTH BEACH — This Saturday amongst the SOBEWFF madness many of Miami's top chefs are stopping by Taquiza to create some special tacos all for a good cause. Between 6 p.m. and midnight the taqueria will offer a one-night only 'Chef Menu' with the proceeds going to FIU's Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism. Chefs creating tacos for the menu include Roel Alcudia, Richard Hales, Brad Kilgore, Diego Oka, Michael Pirolo and Giorgio Rapicavoli. [EaterWire]

SOUTH BEACH — Starting this February, Radio Bar will be bringing in a special guest each month to teach a hands-on Mixology Class. The first class kicks off tonight from at 7 p.m. themed "The Art of the Tiki" with guests learning how to make two signature tiki drinks. After the class, they also get to go home with gifts like a tiki mug, a bottle of homemade orgeat syrup, a t-shirt and two recipe cards. [EaterWire]
