Miami's First Ever Mellow Mushroom Now Open

The stoner-themed pizzeria Mellow Mushroom has more than 170 locations throughout the Southeast but none in Miami, until today.

We first reported that Mellow Mushroom was opening right next to the Sunset Place Mall last Summer. The pizzeria has a large following, especially in college towns, mainly in part to its butter-soaked, cornmeal-dusted pizza crusts and unique pizza combinations.

The South Miami location comes complete with a long list of craft beers and plenty of craft cocktails on the menu. It is open daily for lunch and dinner Sunday through Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 12 a.m. and Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. [EaterWire]
