Nostalgic Sandwiches with a Twist at Newly Opened Sack It

From the co-founder of Burger & Beer Joint

If you're in the mood for a sandwich it just became a bit easier to find, at least in Coconut Grove. The Miami New Times has reported that Sack It! Fine Sandwiches Company has opened in CocoWalk.

Owned by Ron Garcia, who helped co-found Burger & Beer Joint, Sack It's menu ranges from $7-9 with its seven sandwiches served in a colorful bag with chips and fruit — reminiscent of lunches during childhood.

Think grown-up takes on classic sandwiches like a ham and cheese sandwich made brie and olive spread and a roast beef sandwich served with an oregano au jus. Also on hand are Fireman Derek desserts, a variety of chips and dips, beers by Biscayne Bay Brew Co. and J. Wakefield and drinks made with freshly squeezed sugarcane juice.

Sack It is open Sunday through Wednesday 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
