It was only a matter of time that the neighborhood producing the most craft beer in Miami would have a beer market — and that time is now as Boxelder Craft Beer Market has officially opened in Wynwood.
Located right next door to the Ducati shop on 2825 N.W. 2 Ave., Boxelder it is part market and part bar owned and operated by husband and wife team Adam and Nicole Darnell. The market features everything a beer geek would want including beer bottles and growlers, shirts from local breweries and even glassware. The tap room has a rotation of 19 (mainly) local beers, a wine selection plus kombucha also on tap.
Boxelder doesn't have a kitchen but it plans to sell food options in the market from Brown Bag Popcorn Company and Miami Smokers along with hosting an assortment of food trucks on site every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
The store and taproom is open daily from 1 p.m. until midnight, with plans to open its back patio "beer garden" sometime soon.
