The Embassy Closing Soon For 'Renovations'

Owner vague on return date

Yelp/Johan S.

The Miami New Times is reporting that Buena Vista restaurant The Embassy is closing in two weeks for "renovations," telling the outlet that they are, "cleaning up a bit and taking a break."

The restaurant's fate seems to be a little vague. The Embassy's chef and owner Alan Hughes alludes in the article that the restaurant may or may not return as a new concept and doesn't seem to have a concrete reopening date but, "work is expected to take weeks rather than months."

For now, the last day of service for The Embassy is Saturday, April 11. Stay tuned for more updates. [Miami New Times]
