It seems like Miami is going from lack of delivery options to many options real quick. Today San-Fransisco based payment company Square's self-described "high-quality delivery service" Caviar makes its way to Miami. For its initial launch it has partnered with 16 different independent restaurants like Loba, Blue Collar, Ms. Cheezious, Momi Ramen and Miami Smokers to offer delivery.
Customers can place an order through Caviar’s website or mobile app for Android and iOS and get it delivered for a flat fee of $4.99. Once a customer places their order, they can track the status of their order and follow along with their courier via GPS once it’s out for delivery. It also gives people the option to order up to a week ahead of time and share the cart with others, which the press release boasts is a, "great solution for corporate clients and large groups."
This is Caviar's 18th market it has entered since launching in 2012. Starting Monday, it's offering free delivery to first-time customers in Miami. Check it out this way.
