Josh's Deli's Josh Marcus Now Running the Kitchen at The Bar in Coral Gables

Late last week, the Miami New Times reported that Josh Marcus has taken over the kitchen at The Bar in Coral Gables.

The longtime bar and restaurant is owned John Donovan, a partner at Josh's Deli. Marcus has reworked the menu and added items pretzel quesadillas, sliders made with turkey bone marrow and foie gras, and yucca mozzarella sticks with avocado vinaigrette, according to the site. As for his popular namesake deli, Marcus is still very much a part of that telling New Times that, "the menu is on lock" so he can put his focus on The Bar for now.

Marcus' new and improved bar menu is available all day and night, with Marcus hinting in the article that a dinner menu could be in the works but for now, "it's a bar and I'm not changing that, I'm not trying to be a gastropub." [Miami New Times]
