Earlier today the Miami New Times reported that the team behind Coral Gables' Spanish eatery Bulla have a new project in the works, Pisco y Nazca. Described as a "ceviche gastrobar" it has plans to open later this summer inside Town & Country Mall.
To run the kitchen it has tapped chef Miguel Gomez, who most recently served as Executive Chef of La Mar in San Francisco. As for his menu? The New Times says it will feature, "lots of pisco (hence the name) and ceviches in a fun, lively, and welcoming environment." The description seems appropriate considering the space will be designed by Celano Design Studio, the same people who have also designed other "lively" restaurants around town like STK and Bagatelle.
The article goes on to note that this is the first of several locations of Pisco y Nazca they plan to open with a location in Doral slated to open in 2016. [Miami New Times]
