Construction is underway for the two new concepts headed to Brickell this summer, Marion and El Tucán. Taking over the former Hoxton space at 1111 1st Avenue a tipster sent in construction shots and said work is well underway.
Reps for the concepts, both owned and operated by Mr Hospitality, tell us that "Mediterranean grand cafe" Marion is slated to open in July while the "Latin-inspired cabaret" El Tucán is opening in September.
We're also being told Marion just signed a chef to run the kitchen, "who's pretty big deal." Official word on who that big deal chef is will be coming your way in a week or so. Stay tuned for more details.
