The soon-to-be open Tantalize Miami has tapped a big name to lead its kitchen, James Beard Award Semifinalist and former The District Executive Chef Horacio Rivadero.
Tantalize is self-described as a, "sensual dining destination," slated to open on Miami Beach on June 9. His menu will consist of lots of fish crudos, appetizers like lamb foie gras meatballs and tacos del pulpo and entrees such as confited duck legs and beef tenderloin churasco.
To help him in the kitchen, Rivadero has brought along Executive Sous and Pastry Chef Veronica Manolizi and Sous Chef Jason Vidal. No word on what exactly happened to chefs Rene Reyes and Justin Bishop that were named in the restaurant's opening announcement.
