It's official. After announcing his departure from Azul in late March, we finally know where William Crandall is going next. The former Azul chef de cuisine will help Jamie DeRosa lead the kitchen at DeRosa's newest concept, Izzy's Fish & Oyster, which opens on June 15.
The restaurant, named after DeRosa’s daughter Isabela, "pays tribute to his childhood summers spent at the seaside shacks of the Northeast."
We're told the menu is close to being completed, but expect plenty of fresh seafood, clam bakes, lunch and brunch offerings and happy hour when the space opens next month.
