McAlister's Deli, the popular fast-casual restaurant known for its sandwiches, 'spuds' and sweet tea, is finally bringing the concept to South Florida with plans to open 10 locations throughout the area in 2016.
The brand signed a 10-unit development agreement with local husband-and-wife franchise team, Marcelo and Berny Montalvan, to open new restaurants in neighborhoods including Doral, Aventura, South Miami, Davie, Plantation, Coral Springs, Pembroke Pines and Ft. Lauderdale. The first of the new locations is slated to open in early 2016.
The chain already has more than 300 locations throughout 24 states but this is the first time it will open up in South Florida. No word yet on which location will open first or when it might up. Stay tuned for more details.
