At this point it probably goes without saying that it hasn't been a great week for Miami Beach restaurants. Just yesterday we reported that Siena Tavern had closed, now comes word from Miami.com that another restaurant import, Serendipity 3 on Lincoln Road, has also shut down.
The restaurant, which has an outpost in New York City that still remains open, closed its doors over the weekend. No word on why the restaurant has shuttered.
As the Miami.com article goes on to point out that this is one of five restaurants to close within a few weeks time in the area. But one restaurant that is using the Serendipity 3 closing to its advantage is neighboring Doraku Sushi who'll be opening for brunch for the first time ever this weekend in order to appeal to Serendipity's now displaced brunch crowd.
