Favor, an Austin-based delivery service that operates kind of like ride-sharing apps by allowing users to have food and other items delivered directly to them, launched today in Miami.
The app, which was developed by entrepreneurs and former pizza delivery guys, Zac Maurais and Ben Doherty, promises to deliver anything you're "craving" in less than an hour. Plenty of restaurants are offered like Bocce and Coyo Taco are available on the app — but what sets this app apart from the others is that it doesn't just delivery food. It boasts that it act like a "personal assistant" of sorts with its runners picking up your dry cleaning, clothing, groceries and more.
The app is free to download and Favors in Miami will cost a $6 fee plus 5 percent of the cost of the items, but for the rest of July delivery will only be $1. If you want to give it a try yourself use promo code PLAYA on checkout to waive the $6 delivery fee. Download it here.
