Early this morning around 5 a.m. firefighters could be seen on the roof of South Beach's Puerto Sagua Restaurant cutting holes in the hood vents to allow smoke to escape from the kitchen. Details on how the fire was started or how extensive the damage was are unclear at this time.
Come opening hours, only pastries and cold sandwiches were being sold street side. No word on how long the beach staple will be out of commission. Stay tuned more details.
