Sunny Isles isn't exactly known for being a cocktail bar hotspot, but newcomer Sugarloaf Gastrobar is looking to change that.
The owners, Tatanka Guerrero and Luis Fleury, of the now open lounge and restaurant were apparently inspired "by the City of Sunny Isles Beach" when creating the concept, according to the press release. On the menu you'll find dishes like poutine made with beef brisket, wagyu sliders, grilled polenta, and filet of salmon.
As for drinks, it boasts a menu of drinks with all the elements made in-house, "from the simple syrups to the peach schnapps." A large selection of coffee and tea brands will also be available curated by Guerrero.
The space is now open Monday through Thursday 5 p.m. to midnight and Friday through Sunday 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sugarloaf Gastrobar is located on 18090 Collins Avenue. For more information call 305-466-4599.
