Miami.com is reporting that James Beard award-winning chef Michael Schwartz has been named in a class action lawsuit filed last October that, "accuses Schwartz and his operations director, Charles Bell, of withholding wages, overtime pay and tips, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act."
The plaintiffs named in the case are Andres Duque and Roberto Abreu, according to Miami.com. They both worked at Schwartz's flagship restaurant, Michael's Genuine Food & Drink until October of last year. The case is set to go to trial early 2016.
