You officially have a new spot to check out this weekend a Wynwood Diner officially opens its doors inside the newly developed Wynwood Block.
Describing itself as "a modern take on the classic American diner" it features traditional diner grub with a twist by Executive Chef Michael Castino, who has done stints at Estiatorio Milos by Costas Spiliadis, Pride & Joy and Tavern on the Green in NYC. In true diner fashion plenty of all-day-breakfast options are available like nutmeg and bourbon French toast, specialty omelets and a chicken and waffle club sandwich.
And with an all-day menu comes an all-day drink menu, created by Vanessa Hulsey formerly of Broken Shaker and 27, that features handcrafted cocktails, wines and a large craft beer selection.
The restaurant features, "three distinct spaces," an inside diner, cafe and outdoor patio decorated with tufted maroon banquettes, industrial lighting fixtures, unfinished concrete walls and an open kitchen.
