Another day, another South Beach restaurant closure, this time its the glitzy 1826 Restaurant. Miami.com is reporting that the restaurant has closed after a year and a half in business.
The four-story, all-glass exterior restaurant and lounge opened in February 2014 to rave reviews by then executive chef Danny Grant. Grant left the restaurant in November 2014 and was replaced by Luke Bergman.
No word on if another concept will take over the space. Stay tuned for more details.
