Nearby homes suffered minor damages

dailymail

Early this morning a food truck parked in a Miami neighborhood exploded as a result of an attached 100 gallon propane tank that accidentally blew up.

According to Miami Dade Fire Rescue Officials and neighbors, the explosion was so powerful that homes within its vicinity felt the rattle and experienced minor damages.

One witness in particular said the incident woke him up after his bedroom window burst from the impact. Another neighbor said he felt his whole house shake.

Chopper 4 reported on the scene with aerial views of the destruction. A large field of debris can be seen where the food truck was parked. The explosion resulted in dozens of broken windows and piles of mangled metal reaching as far as 100 feet.

No injuries have been reported, although the food truck was a total loss.
