Michael Schwartz Announces Second Coconut Grove Restaurant

Housed inside the new Park Grove development

Park Grove

With his second outpost of Harry's Pizzeria very close to opening in Coconut Grove, James Beard award-winning chef Michael Schwartz has announced his second restaurant concept in Coconut Grove inside the currently under construction residential property by The Related Group and Terra Group, Park Grove.

The 3,500-square-foot restaurant is Schwartz's third collaboration with The Related Group including restaurants in the upcoming SLS Hotel & Residences in Brickell next summer and Paraiso Bay Restaurant & Beach Club in Edgewater in 2017.

"The vision for the restaurant is to create something similar to the Cypress Room but opening into a lush cozy courtyard that will become Coconut Grove’s own secret garden," Schwartz says of the yet-to-be named eatery.

In addition to the restaurant, a 1,000-square foot on-premise area for private events will be available and Schwartz will be the exclusive in-house service provider for the restaurant, catering, pool and bar service on property. And adding to the fancy perks of the building, Schwartz will also be responsible for the property's concierge services for boat owners with vessels docked at Grove marinas, creating boxed lunches to go for families and kids.

No word on when the space might open but according to the press release a "restaurant preview pop-up event by Regatta Park" for residents is in the works.
