A new restaurant is coming to The Villa, Casa Casuarina hotel — formerly the Versace mansion — this October called Gianni's at The Villa, which is named after the space's most famous inhabitant, Gianni Versace.
The restaurant will be serving up "nouveau Italian Mediterranean fare" created by Executive Chef Thomas Stewart along with Mathias Gervais, Executive Chef of The Restaurant at Setai. On the menu expect plenty of, well, Italian dishes like branzino, caviar, scallops and lobster.
The restaurant features three dining areas including the Medusa Dining Room, which used to be Versace's formal dining room, the Greek-themed Moroccan Room and the the outdoor patio area called the Mosaic Garden that overlooks the 54-foot-long ”Million Mosaic Pool." The Onyx Bar will also be open to guests look to grab a pre- or post-dinner cocktail.
The restaurant opens Friday, October 2 for dinner service Tuesday through Sunday from 7 p.m. Lunch service will be available by "appointment only."
