CORAL GABLES — The third annual Chefs Up Front dinner hosted by Florida Introduces Physical Activity and Nutrition to Youth (FLIPANY), takes place tomorrow night at the Biltmore Hotel. The interactive meal pairs each table up with a different chef from popular restaurants around town like Bulla Gastrobar, Scarpetta, Matador Room and Swine Southern, who will cook a five-course feast right in front of them. A happy hour sponsored by Chipotle (!) and beer by local brewery, J. Wakefield, live auction hosted by Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival Founder Lee Brian Schrager, will also be on hand. MIAMI BEACH — Next week, Hakkasan kicks of its "Golden Week" celebration with an entire month of festivities. During the next four weeks, Hakkasan will be offering an upscale traditional Chinese feast for $138 per person.
