Here's where to eat and play this weekend.

BRICKELL — Can you eat wings with the best of them? Then prove it at the Miami Lighthouse Chicken Championship Wing Eating Contest taking place from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight at Batch Gastropub. WYNWOOD — Ready to rock your finest lederhosen? Good, because Concrete Beach Brewery is hosting its first ever Blocktoberfest, which takes over Wynwood this Saturday, September 19. The all-day festival will feature Oktoberfest-inspired games such as inflatable pretzel toss, yodeling contests and German-style food, and of course plenty of beer. The festivities begin at 2 p.m. And if you party too hard it is offering up a "Recovery Brunch" the following day at Loba for $39.99 a person. Find that menu here. [EaterWire]

MIAMI — Dinner Lab is popping back up on Saturday, September 19, at another "unknown" location. The only thing that we do know is that chef Juan Carlos Suarez of Cantina La Veinte will be on hand cooking the meal. The event is for Dinner Lab members only. Snag your membership here. [EaterWire]

MIAMI BEACH — Close out your weekend at the Broken Shaker as it hosts its "Shaker, Rattle & Roll" with Harry's Pizzeria. The pizza joint is bring out its new mobile oven for the even and will be cooking up three different pies and wings for the occasion. Party starts at 2 p.m. and goes until sundown. [EaterWire]
