Panther Coffee Announces Two New Stores Plus New Roasting Facility

Moving roasting operations from Wynwood to Little Haiti

Panther Coffee

Panther Coffee is making sure you can get your coffee fix no matter where in Miami you are. Late last week the South Florida Business Journal reported that the independent coffee store, which currently has three locations, is planning to open two more locations with one of them serving as the new Panther Coffee headquarters.

The local coffee company not only serves coffee in its stores but also has 135 wholesale partners throughout the country that it produces thousands of pounds of beans for every week out of its flagship 1,250-square-foot shop in Wynwood. Come January 1, it will move its roasting to much larger digs — a 4,000-square-foot spot at 59th Street and NW Second Avenue in Little Haiti, according to the Business Journal.

Its other new location, at 64th Street and Biscayne Boulevard, will serve as a retail store for the coffee brand and hopes to open in the next two to three months. But its owners, Joel and Leticia Pollock, tell the Business Journal that they plan to keep the stores family-owned as it continues to grow. [South Florida Business Journal]
