Miami might have its fair share of taco restaurants, but one more won't hurt, right? Popular Fort Lauderdale taco restaurant, Tacocraft, is opening a second location in South Miami by May of this year at 5829 S.W. 73rd Street, reports the South Florida Business Journal.
Tacocraft is described on its website as being a "semi-authentic boutique taqueria & tequila bar" with dishes that veer on the traditional side like guac and chips, burritos, and of course, plenty of tacos. The Miami outpost will be a bit larger than its Fort Lauderdale location featuring indoor and outdoor seating for about 100 people, local street art murals on the walls, along with lunch, dinner, brunch, and late night dining options.
The restaurant is owned by JEY Hospitality, the same guys behind other Fort Lauderdale based eateries like Himmarshee Public House, Pizzacraft, along with neighboring South Miami Rok:Brgr.
The article also goes on to say that a possible Rok:Brgr is close to being finalized in the new Downtown Doral complex that already will be housing plenty of restaurants like Dragonfly Sushi and Pisco y Nazca when it opens later this spring. Stay tuned for more updates.
