The chicken sandwich that took Brooklyn's Shake Shack by storm last summer has made its way down to Miami beginning today at 11 a.m. That's right bird really is the word for Shake Shack who is introducing its Chick’n Shack sandwich all on menus across the country.
A little refresher on the sandwich: it's a fried chicken breast sandwich topped with pickles, shredded lettuce and a tangy house-made buttermilk herb mayo made with chives, parsley and thyme served on top of a potato bun, which retails for $6.29. Simple, yes, but purposely so, just like many other of Shake Shack's creations.
The sandwich caused quite the frenzy in New York City when it debuted in limited release in July selling out in less then one day at all three Brooklyn locations. But the good news for you though is it will now be a permanent fixture on all Shack menus including the Coral Gables, South Beach and Boca Raton locations.
