Steakhouses aren’t exactly a rarity in the Brickell neighborhood, but that’s not stopping another one from opening up in the area. The Real Deal South Florida is reporting that steakhouse El Churrasco is going to take over the space that once housed Porcao in the 2000s – and most recently Brasileiro – inside the Four Ambassadors in Brickell.
The concept belongs to the aptly named Rodeo Angus LLC, which is linked to the Gil family of Argentina who own cattle ranches in South America. The new restaurant is part of a real estate deal with California’s Black Lion Investment Group, who dropped more than $10 million for the 14,000-square-foot restaurant space. Black Lion also owns the neighboring venue in the building, which it is still considering options for like nightclub, cigar bar or boating tenant to fill. No word on when El Churrasco will officially open its doors. Stay tuned for more updates. [The Real Deal South Florida]
