Two New Miami Bars to Check Out This Weekend

It's Fri-yay

El Patio

With Friday quiting time just a few hours away here are two new bars to stop by, imbibe and maybe even dance at this weekend.

WYNWOOD — Taking over the former TSL Lounge spot is a new "Latin Bar" called El Patio. The 3,500 square-foot-space plans to play everything from vintage salsa to reggaeton with a sprinkle of live performances in-between. The brains behind the bar are Nicolas Hoyos, Catalina Monsalve, Beto Perez and Jaquelina Zingalez, who have opened other popular Latin-inspired bars around town like Baru Urbano and Zoe. Plus, tonight for its opening party it is giving away booze on the house if you RSVP here167 NW 23rd St, Miami

DOWNTOWN MIAMI — The guys behind mega-club Grand Central have opened their latest concept, 1306. Self-described as "blending a passion for cocktail culture, live music and unpretentious vibes" it will feature cocktails by Broken Shaker alum Virginia King in a retro-1920s setting. The space is now open nightly from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. with a daily happy hour featuring complimentary light bites. 1306 N. Miami Avenue, Miami
