Fans of Tap 42 won’t have to make the trip up to Ft. Lauderdale much longer as the popular gastropub has announced its Coral Gables location is slated to open this March.

The new 6,350 square-foot location on the corner of Giralda Avenue and Salzedo Street features more than 200 seats, a retractable open storefront with floor-to-ceiling garage doors and an outdoor patio area. The menu is expected to be similar to its Fort Lauderdale counterpart with dishes like shrimp mac and cheese, fish and chips, and of course, plenty of beer.

It will also keep with the weekly specials like $5 burger Mondays and bottomless brunch on the weekends. More Tap 42’s are in the works, with the press release mentioning that the restaurant "is continuing on working to developing the Tap 42 concept statewide and possibly nationwide." Tap 42 Coral Gables will open at 301 Giralda Ave, Suite 1.
