Last fall, James Beard award-winning chef Michael Schwartz announced his second restaurant concept in Coconut Grove inside the currently under construction residential property by The Related Group and Terra Group, Park Grove. And now we have a closer look of what the yet-to-be named restaurant will be like.
Slated to open at the beginning of 2018 the restaurant will, fittingly so, feature a large park component. The park at Tigertail and Mary will house an entrance to the restaurant along with an outdoor pavilion bar. The restaurant plans to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with a focus on wood-fire cooking.
"Our restaurant at Park Grove will serve as a cornerstone for the the Coconut Grove community, showcasing what we do best, a neighborhood restaurant built on farmer and artisan relationships, cooking with the South Florida seasons and with a menu changing around its ingredients," Schwartz told Eater.
