Longstanding Italian eatery Osteria del Teatro has officially set up shop inside the Marlin Hotel at 1200 Collins Avenue. The 29-year-old restaurant, now resides in the former BaZi space and will serve as the hotel’s main restaurant.

The new version of Osteria serves up a similar menu to its previous location prepared by chef Martin Perez, who’s been with the restaurant since 1987. Expect homemade pastas, seafood dishes including its popular lobster, avocado and mango Salad, and extensive wine list. Plus this new location features a full bar with signature cocktails named after famous Italian celebs.

The new version of Osteria is tucked away in the hotel’s main lobby, and features a more polished look than its previous incarnation with exposed brick, images of classic black and white films giving a nod to its theater roots, and outdoor seating for 20.

The restaurant is now open nightly from 6 to 11 p.m. Call 305-538-7850 for more information.
