South Pointe Tavern Brings Another Drinking Spot to South of Fifth

Feat. the largest selection of whiskey and tequila on the beach.

South Pointe Tavern

Concurrent with the approaching cool weather is yet another drinking establishment in Miami Beach. South Pointe Tavern will be joining the South of Fifth neighborhood this November.

South Pointe Tavern will be akin to its predecessors, which haven't changed much since the 17th century, serving the largest selection of whiskeys and tequilas in Miami Beach. Interactive iPads will be available for guests to learn more about the large international selection of rare spirits and curated wine. The cocktail program was created by the duo from Distilled Hospitality and includes variations of the classics including Whiskey Bucks and High Balls.

Like a true tavern, the menu will include a variety of snacks, like an array of imported charcuterie and cheeses, ceviches, crudos, paninis and flatbreads. The nautical space features a wrap-around terrace, exposed brick-clad walls and a white marble bar, along with a French bistro style outdoor cafe (just in time for the "winter").

The Tavern will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight, Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at 40 South Pointe Drive. Stay tuned for an opening date.
