If you step foot into Panther Coffee’s Coconut Grove location, Miami Beach’s DIRT, or North Miami’s Alaska Coffee Roasting Co. on Wednesday, October 5, they will certainly have a different feel to it than usual — and guests will have the Gilmore Girls to thank for that.
As part of Netflix promotion for its reboot of the popular 2000s show — that celebrates its 16th anniversary of its debut on Wednesday — it is transforming 250 different coffee shops across the country into a Luke’s Diner for the morning.
From 7 a.m. until noon (or until supplies last) visitors to these locations will get a free cup of coffee, plus will be able to soak up some TV nostalgia with "all the Luke’s Diner essentials” like branded aprons and t-shirts, and the Netflix reps promise "a fun surprise under their custom Gilmore Girls coffee sleeve.”
Netflix gave a preview of the Luke’s Diner pop-up at VidCon in Cali last June. Check it out here. And find the entire list of Luke’s Diner pop-ups this way.
