After taking some time away from the restaurant scene, Hell’s Kitchen vet Paula DaSilva is bringing her talents back to Miami with the opening of Artisan Beach House inside The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour at 10295 Collins Avenue later this year.
DaSilva will be teaming up once again with restaurant and nightlife mogul Seth Greenberg, who she first worked with at 1500 Degrees inside the Eden Roc hotel, which during its heyday was named by Esquire magazine as one of the “Best New Restaurants in America.”
Not much has been released about the menu at Artisan house except that it will be “rustic” and “soulful” featuring plenty of local ingredients and dishes that will be “globally inspired." Helping her lead the kitchen is her former colleague Tony Coddington, a member of DaSilva’s 1500 Degrees crew and, most recently of Seagrape at Thompson Miami Beach, who will serve as chef de cuisine.
No official opening date has been released. Stay tuned for more updates.
