The Menin team is at it again. The masterminds behind some of Miami’s most popular watering holes and eateries — like Bodega and Halves & Wholes — have officially opened the doors to their latest concept, Ricky’s.
The space serves as part restaurant, part bar, and part debauchery den that is described as a “entertainment playground” complete with arcade games, live music and nightly themed parties.
Creating the “carnival” themed menu is culinary director Bernie Matz who has created dishes like smoked corn dogs, hot chicken and waffles, waffle mac’n cheese, and fried apples rings.
As for drinks, there are plenty of options there as well. In addition to table-tap beer bongs, there are more than 150 whiskey varieties on hand. And if you’re with a group, a choose-your-own punch option featuring a spirit of their choice, greens, fruits, and spice is available.
Every night of the week Ricky’s features programming, and specials that coincide with them, like Peace, Love & Music Fridays, Game Day Saturdays, and Ricky Bobby Sundays. Plus, more traditional arcade games including Air Hockey, The Terminator and Basketball Shootout are always available.
Ricky’s is open at 1222 16th Street, Monday through Friday 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday noon to 5 a.m. For more information, call 305-704-3602.
