No matter your comfort food craving, new Miami Beach eatery K Ramen. Burger. Beer has you covered. Opening up inside of the Townhouse Hotel earlier this month, the L.A. import features a variety of Japanese-inspired dishes with an emphasizes on ramen, burgers and poke.
Playing up three of the more popular culinary trends in this city, dishes include entrees like half-pound burgers served with tater tots, four different types of ramen including ones filled with spicy black miso and lobster, poke bowls and handrolls made with salmon and tuna, and for dessert, Coolhaus ice cream by the pint.
As for cocktails, its menu offers interesting takes on classic libations like an Old Fashioned made with toasted brown rice, a margarita made with silver tequila washed in seven Japanese spices, a Thai tea milk punch made with spiced black tea and clarified milk, along with Japanese beers, wines and sakes.
The Japanese theme extends to the restaurant decor, with its walls decorated in anime cartoons, life-sized games and TVs playing Japanese hits. The restaurant is located at 150 20th Street and is open from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. daily. Call 305-534-7895 for more details.
