Art Basel with LDV Hospitality

Taste of the Yard

Gin & Tonics with Nigel Barker

WHAT: English fashion photographer and designer, Nigel Barker, is celebrating the classic gin & tonic with a special class dedicated to the drink where he will explore everything from the gin used in it to the glassware it goes in. Plus, Barker will reveal a new goblet designed expressly for the British cocktail. Art Escape Dinner at Coya

Third Annual Swig n’ Swine Fundraising Party

Cafecito Intergral

WHAT: This new coffee bar at the Freehand Hotel serving Cuban classics like the cortadito, cafe con leche, as well as originals like the “Matcha Fizz” made with honey and rosemary. DETAILS: Open November 29 to December 4; 2727 Indian Creek Drive, Miami Beach; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Harry’s Pizzeria x Shake Shack

WHAT: Michael Schwartz’s popular pizza concept, Harry’s Pizzeria, is teaming up with quite possibly the most popular burger concept in the world, Shake Shack, for a one-week only menu mash up at their respective Miami locations. Harry’s “Shorty Burger” will be available at Shake Shack’s Coral Gables (1450 S Dixie Hwy) and Miami Beach (1111 Lincoln Rd) outposts, while the “Shack-cago Pizza,” will be available at Harry’s Pizzeria’s Coconut Grove (2996 McFarlane Rd) and Design District (3918 N Miami Ave) locations. A Little Bird Told Me

WHAT: A four-day Elyx pop-up inside the Edition Hotel featuring an interactive cocktail experience into the Nordic jungle. Guests will experience a 45-minute cocktail tasting menu paired with Nordic cuisine. Michy’s Garden Cafe Pop Up

WHAT: Michelle Bernstein is bringing back for the fourth consecutive year, operating the outdoor Garden Café at Miami Beach Botanical Garden during Art Basel Miami Beach, similar to the fare offered at Bernstein’s cafe in the Miami Design District, Crumb on Parchment. Employees Only Pop Up

WHAT: In anticipation of their Miami Beach opening, Employees Only will host a two-day pop-up lounge on the lawn of the newly open Washington Park Hotel. The event will feature an Employees Only Art Basel cocktail list, DJs and a fortuneteller. DETAILS: December 1 & 2; 1050 Washington Avenue; 5 to 10 p.m.

Will Elliott at Bar Alter

WHAT: Wynwood’s most post eatery, Alter, has tapped Will Elliott from Maison Premiere and Sauvage in Brooklyn to take over its bar for a few days, with Elliott creating eight different cocktails for the menu. DETAILS: November 30 to December 1; 223 NW 23rd Street

Bonus: All bars in Wynwood are open until 5 a.m. this week, because going home at 3 a.m. is so 2015.
