The festival is bringing the new-ness

Rukkus

It’s that time of year again. The 15th Annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival is just a few weeks away. Sure, all the classic events are back like Burger Bash and Grand Tasting Village, but there are plenty of new ones added to the roster. Here are the best of the bunch.

One&Only Resorts Presents Croquetas & Champagne Hosted by Jean-Georges Vongerichten

We can’t think of SOBEWFF party that is more "Miami" than this event. Taking over the Design District’s ultra-swanky Palm Court on Saturday night, the party will feature croquetas curated by local comfort food blogger Burger Beast from restaurants like Finka, Ms. Cheezious, Barley, Piripi and much more – plus all the bubbly you can get you hands on.

When: Saturday, February 27, 10 p.m. - midnight

Grilled Cheese Happy Hour Hosted by Laura Werlin & Ms. Cheezious

Booze and grilled cheese is almost as classic of a combo as grilled cheese and tomato soup. (At least in our opinion.) But clearly we aren’t the only ones with this mindset since this new event will combine Ms. Cheezious’ uber-popular grilled cheese with plenty of libations.
