The weekend's best bites and drinks

Hakkasan

Sure, there may be some big football game on this weekend (and we've found great spots to watch that here) but if you're looking for something else to do, here's what's on the Miami agenda.

SOUTH BEACH — Love champagne? (duh) Love caviar? (duh) Then head to BaZi for its Caviar and Champagne happy hour, taking place the first Friday of each month. On hand will be discounted caviar, bubbles and gratis shots of vodka. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN MIAMI — For fans of beat-the-clock, Spris Artisan Pizza is launching a new Beat the Clock deal with a Piñata Pizza Party benefitting St.-Jude Children’s Research Hospital at its Downtown location. For a $20 donation you get to take a whack at the clock-shaped piñata and sip on unlimited draft Peroni. [EaterWire]

SOUTH BEACH — Don't know what grouse is? Us either. But don't let that stop you from heading to the Raleigh Hotel for its grouse martini "shake off" cocktail competition Friday night from 5 to 8 p.m. Sample on four different libations and pick the winner, which will be featured at the hotel all month long. WYNWOOD — You would have though that Wynwood would have gotten on the Farmer's Market train a long time ago. But better late than never, right? This Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. the neighborhood will host its first official one at Lab Miami featuring vendors like Teena's Pride, Paradise Farms and Zak the Baker. [EaterWire]

MIAMI BEACH — It's the year of the monkey Hakkasan at Fontainebleau Miami Beach is celebrating with a limited edition menu this Saturday for Chinese New Year, complete with entertainment in the form of a Chinese Lion Dance. [EaterWire]

SOUTH BEACH — As if Bagatelle's brunch wasn't lively enough, this Sunday it's Brazilian Carnival themed with plenty of spirited decor "inspired by the music and culture of Brazil" along with sounds from DJ Vincent Daubas. [EaterWire]
