Miami’s first "culinary incubator" Wynwood Yard has, as promised, has revamped its lineup for the new season. For this go around it has partnered with NYC-based Tactivate to add new food, drink and programming options to the lineup.
First up – the booze. A new bar is taking over the space called Mortar & Pistil that will offer craft cocktails that are served with a side of "physical challenges." For instance, a guest might learn to tie a special knot or learn emergency preparedness while the bartender prepares their beverage of choice. For those looking for a caffeine fix, a new coffee program from Per’La Roasters will be on hand featuring beans from around the world that are roasted locally.
As for food, concepts like Myumi Sushi, Dim Ssam a Go Go, della test kitchen are staying put but popular Brickell pizzeria Stanzione 87 is opening an outpost in the ‘Yard as well with its new concept Ash by Stanzione 87 serving wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas.
And yes, human hamster ball battles will be on hand along with plenty of other activities like bubble soccer, yoga and nerf gun fights. Find it all here.
